Martin went to Mpumiro, he walked around the village with the Chairman LC1, the parish chief and the sanitation committee members. Their intention was to check facility improvement and constructions, especially hand washing stands and the new latrine constructions. But good enough the big number of homes have worked on the new hand washing stands and plastering them. And when the group was walking around that village, every community member was so excited to see them, especially Joswa Ngob, he is a teacher, he works in Entebe. When he was on the way coming back to his home in Mpumiro village, he was planning to reach home, and start encouraging his wife and the children to start washing their hands. But what makes him to be so happy, is to see that they worked on the hand washing stands for washing their hands after visiting their latrine. And he told the group that because of the big work of kibo going on in his village about construction of the new hand washing stands. He started also encouraging their neighbors to have the hand washing stands, because he knew the value of washing the hands before Covid 19. And another thing what encouraged Martin, is to see that Eliyasa Maganda, one of the sanitation committee members, he is the fast person to construct a new model dish rack. When Martin asked him that, what forced you, to construct a strong new model dish rack? He answered that, he wanted to be the example and to show the residents that even if he is among of those who are encouraging them to work on their sanitation facilities. And he is also a resident in that village, and he is not special to them. Finally the the group was encouraging the community members to work on their sanitation facilities, so that they can change their village, to be the model in Namutumba District. As kibo is still working in that community as well as the village, the group walked in 34homes.
