- Alex b , Abraham and Chris finally visited nabituluntu village and conducted the much anticipated meeting which intended to bring the village together and also let community members elect their leaders, it was indeed a very successful meeting thanks to the sub county officials who included the sub county chief, LC3 chairman and the LC1 of nabituluntu who sacrificed their time and invited kibo to be on this kind of dialogue meeting. The meeting started by leaders reconciling with each other, the NRM(ruling party ) chairperson , mr Galevu who lost an election to the incumbent LC1 chairman of nabituluntu finally buried the hatchet and decided to end the rivalry. These two had divided the community into two parts each claiming a territory. This was the main reason why some members never used to attend the meeting because they claimed the meeting was not in their territory. This was solved by choosing a neutral ground were everyone was comfortable to go for the meeting. The chairman LC3 who has been working alongside kibo in the whole sub county advised the community that kibo works with a united community so they should get united if they want to benefit from kibo programs. The chairman LC3 thanked kibo especially Abraham, Alex and Chris for offering the platform for reconciliation which is why the members now see hope ahead of them. During the election of new leaders, the members opted to chose leaders from both upper and lower nabituluntu in order to balance the leadership and indeed they elected their leaders and requested Alex b ,Abraham and Chris to visit again to teach them their roles. Alex b and Chris will go back to nabituluntu on 16/09/2020 to meet the newly elected leaders to discuss about their roles and also empower them to carry on with their responsibilities in the community.
