Ida went to Maliga to teach about the three types of chicken feeds. As babies don’t begin with solid food, so are chics. The feed that chics start with is Chic and duck mash. This is for chics from day one to eight weeks . Growers mash is for chics from week nine to twelve weeks and the final feed is for chics from week thirteen to until you sell or eat it. Below is the mixture of chic and duck mash. Maize brand. 62 kgs Cotton seed cake. 25kgs Mukene(silver cake). 10kgs Amasonko (shells). 2kgs Pre-mix. 1/2kg Salt. 1/2kg Give lots of water.
