Notes
Ida went to Budumba to finalize the chicken coop building. The members embraced the new coop that are cheap to build. They promised to start small with what they have and later after selling the chickens they will be able to buy iron sheets and make bricks as a group. Ida taught them how to minimize nails when building, and she will ask Isabirye from Nabikenge to go and help Budumba because Nabikenge has the best coops. Ida also emphasized that Kibo is not going to give chickens to community members as some members thought. She encouraged them to put what they learned in practice starting with one or two chickens that they have then in few months they will have many since we begin counting from one until we reach a million. Ida plans to visit Budumba in January to see the progress.

13447 This was a kitchen before but now it’s a chicken coop. David built a new kitchen with iron sheets so in stead of breaking the old one down, they decided to keep their chickens there since they now have the knowledge.
