- Manuela went to Namutumba district to meet with the District Education Officer to up date him about Life Skills progress in both Kigalama and Kivule primary schools. She was able to meet with the probation officer and the District Education Officer and told them about how Life Skills is currently going on in those schools. Manuela went on calling them up to come and work together because if they joined hands then Life Skills program will become successful for young girls and boys in Namutumba District.
Manuela went on and met with the District Health Educators, Manuela was able to share with him about the Mama Kit, he was so impressed and he went on saying that giving Mama Kits to mothers will motivate mothers to go to the hospital when their due days reached and that will reduce the high rate of Maternal Mortality rate in Namutumba districts.
But he went on and said that all Mama Kits must be given to mothers who are really pregnant. He continued and said that Kibo staff must be serious so that to avoid mothers who may pretend that they are pregnant yet they are not, that is why he also said that Kibo group must have a registered Nurse during this exercise.
