- Irene went to kagulu village to teach about urinary tract diseases basically teaching the causes,risk factors,signs and symptoms,effects and prevention. Irene was welcomed by the VHT who thanked kibo for their efforts towards the development of their village, changing their way of life and improving their health. Irene started with a review of the previous lesson then asked the members the meaning of urinary tract information. It’s syphillis mai said, it’s an infection that catches the reproductive part sula said and with those examples Irene explained the meaning of Urinary tract diseases,the signs and symptoms especially pain on passing urine, discharge, lower abdominal pain among others. After discussing that Irene also discussed about the medical effects and prevention oof the urinary tract diseases, also encouraging members to seek medical help Incase of any symptoms to avoid complications that may result from not treating the infection. After the meeting Irene got to meet a few of the pregnant women advising them on attending antenatal visits, hospital delivery, and child preparedness.
