David and Steven were in Ndhalike village. Their intentions of going there was to conduct the second evaluation to ascertain the current village sanitation status. As David and Steven were in the village they were joined by some of the Sanitation committee members who led them into the different homes around the entire village. They moved home to home in 106 homes around the entire village but out of the homes David, Steven and sanitation committee visited this was what was noted. Almost all the homes in the village had constructed the hand washing stands in place .Except for the fewer homes which were found missing the hand washing stands. This was because of some members who were off and on in the village due to some job opportunities in the different neighboring districts . So it was the kibo,s pressure’s meeting some of the members who dint have sanitation facilities in place . Therefore David ,the village chairman Anthony Tatyaise and the sanitation committee members they were encouraging the homes which were still lagging behind to get awakened and they start to work and improve as the rest of the other homes. Because the WASH monthly set goal is targeting a-specific facility at a time . Though they will be more continuous sanitation encouragements and the improvements on the rest of the other sanitation facilities. That is why almost everyone in Ndhalike village was doing good with the construction of the hand washing stands. So the next target David and Steven they hope they will be targeting other sanitation facilities which are not doing great with in the village. In general according to David and Steven,s overview they project that they will be spending lesser time in the village since the members they had started working and getting improved on the different facilities for example dish racks construction,rubbish pits,shower areas , latrine construction and the smearing of the different peoples homes .

2020-09-23 - Purpose: To continue encouraging the residents to work and improve on the homes with the much need for more sanitation improvements .

Yes they are still busy working hard to improve on the areas with the need for more sanitation improvements

The sanitation committee members are so active and they feel concerned about the progress of the WASH program in the village.
