Notes
Suzan went to the village to follow up on the construction of the kitchen roofs and the stove usage which was still a struggle for some members. When she reached there, she went to the village community center and found some members gathered outside the main hall because it was too hot to be inside. They welcomed her to the village and together they sat down and briefly discussed about the program activities carried out so far. After, Suzan insisted they walk around the village and check on some facilities especially those that needed repair. As they walked, Suzan realized that some members had managed to smear their buildings and repair the broken stoves while others still complained of not having enough time to search for the materials to repair their facilities. About four kitchens visited that day, needed to be reconstructed at the roof because most of them had big openings which would destroy the stoves once it rains. Suzan requested the members to improve on their facilities before the heavy rains began, and to assist one another especially for those who were too weak to carry out some activities on their own. She encouraged the members to work hand in hand with their leaders so as to get rid of some challenges. Suzan went ahead and explained to some members how to repair their broken stoves because most of them had cracked all over. The members thanked Suzan for the lessons and advice given and Suzan left the village.
