David along with Steven they were in kirwanire village . And their intentions of going there was to have a-village general sanitation improvements meeting which was aimed at discussing ways how the village and kibo staff would speed up the work of sanitation improvements in the village. Before the village,s sanitation improvements meeting, David and Steven were joined by Ben one of the newly elected member on the sanitation committee who led them into some homes which had the greater need for improvements. Out of the homes they visited ,this is what was noted . The kibo staff were so much impressed because they saw some good sanitation progress in some homes . For example in Benifansio waiswa,s home they found the wife and the hasband very busy constructing anew kitchen and the shower area. Because of good progress in Bonifansio, waiswa,s home , David and Steven were so much encouraged. Therefore they advised Bonifansio waiswa to also improve on his father,s pit latrine which was to old. David also continued and advised the wife of Bonifansio waiswa to improve on their kitchens by smearing it . Later because of time they ended up their home to home movements and they headed to where the meeting was to take place from . They started the meeting with an opening prayer which was led by Bogere Hasani. After the opening prayer the chairman requested David to take lead of the meeting. David accepted to lead the meeting. And on that note David requested the chairman to give the general sanitation picture of the entire village. He first thanked the kibo for their time and the fuel always from jinja to kirwanire. Later he aired out his views by reading out a-list of some homes which had failed to get changed and improved. Mr Hasani Bogere the village chairman concluded his speech by requesting David and Steven that they should allow him to handle the the homes which were still lagging behind to David and Steven for further action. David reacted on that by asking what was the other members views about the different homes which were still lagging behind. So they all agreed to give them a grace period of three weeks for the better improvements without fail. Also David and Steven were so much encouraged by some members who confessed saying that they were seeing some changes towards the improvements of the villages general sanitation. On addition to that also some complicated members like Farouk and Balilayine were promising David and Steven that by their next village visit, they will see more improvements with in their homes . In general according to David and Steven,s overview, they saw that there was some more sanitation progress as compared before.

2020-09-25 - Purpose: To follow up on the individuals which are still lagging behind so that they get to step up with the sanitation progress
