The VHT thanked the community members for the cooperation that they have towards each other and for working hard to have food for the next harvest. He then welcomed Irene to take over the lesson since the clouds were threatening. Irene started with a review of the previous lessons then asked the members some of the major infectious diseases zamina gave covid, measles saida said and more examples. Irene requested the members that to give a clear explanation they should categories them into bacterial, viral, fungal, giving the different examples of each and there mode of spread basically from person-to-to-person,animal-to-person being the most common modes. Irene further continued to explain the different types, them being epidemic which affects a large population within a short period of time giving an example of Ebola, and cholera, pandemic this hits worldwide affecting the largest population like COVID 19, endemic which constantly presents in an area though usually at a low level eg malaria, and Irene also discussed about other types like the sporadic which occurs at a low rate.
