- Lesson Taught
- Bible Lesson 7: The Tongue
- Notes
- Ida continued with the Tongue lesson to some members from both group A and B. These are the few that Ida has identified as Kibo ambassadors who will be teaching the rest of the group. The lesson was good according to the participation of the members. It was recap of the previous two sessions that they did very well. After the lesson this woman comes and joins the meeting.
A woman who is a Mvule program got a goat and it multiplied and now she has four goats. She had some marital problems which made her leave for her mothers place. She decided to go with her three goats because her husband wasn’t a Kibo member. The community members too agreed that the woman takes the goats because the husband was going to sell them and use the money for alcohol.
The husband claims that the goats are his because he bought her which makes everything she owns to be his. The land on which the kitchen is built where the goats sleep is his, she didn’t come with goats when coming to marry him.
But the community members were on the woman’s side at the end of all arguments, the woman took the goats!
The good news is that the woman came back to her husband after a while with the four goats. She has forgiven her husband of all he did to her. She thankful for Kibo that has done a great job in uniting people (couples) and all who have been victims of domestic violence.
Mbeiza the group secretary stood and gave the example of the unforgiving servant story that Ida taught some weeks ago. If we don’t forgive God won’t forgive us too.
The meeting ended by people celebrating the woman’s return.
