Alex b and Chris had a very successful meeting with the community leaders and the community members in Budumba village. The meeting was intended to enlighten them about each other’s role towards developing their community. In attendance was the chairman of Budumba village who also led the meeting into prayers and opened the meeting officially. The chairperson of the committee reported to Alex and Chris that the members were ready to receive trees because they dug the holes and put manure in them and for that reason the members were afraid the rain season was getting to an end yet mvule and any other plant needs rain to grow especially when they are still young. The chairperson of the committee thanked the members in the meeting for observing their roles of keeping the group united even in times of trials, the chairperson said that they lost two of their members in the community but because kibo had united the community, they were able to help each other especially the affected family . Alex said that as the community prepares to receive their trees, they should start working together in love and peace to see that other villages look up to them as their role models. Alex b encouraged the members not to be discouraged by the drought and said it is the reason kibo gave them a borehole , they could use water from the borehole to irrigate the trees. Alex and Chris will goiback to Budumba on 16/10/2020 to guide the community as they cone up with the bylaws to guide them through until they get their constitution.
