Notes
Alex and Harriet while in their way to Ndhalike first branched to Naibowa to drop off cement that was required to complete the building of the new borehole brick fence. Also Alex wanted to check on the progress of the work that had been done and make sure it’s the right standard being followed by the builders. WASH group budgeted 10 bags of cement and first gave 5 bags to the builders after having guided them on what to be done. It was noted that so far a good job had been done on this fence and the builders seem to have got the idea from WASH on how best this fence is built. The five bags remaining will be enough to complete the work on this structure and Alex appreciated the water user committee for being very active to make sure a good job is done and were encouraged to see it all completed to the last phase. They were very happy to receive the cement to complete the construction of the wall fence. Alex and Harriet proceeded to Kamuli district water office to take a borehole report for the new borehole in Naibowa to be filled in the district water office. The water officer was happy to Kibo group for responding quickly after the district had asked all NGO’s working in the district to give in their borehole reports before the 14/10/2020. WASH group will continue to go back and monitor the progress of the brick wall fence.
