David along with Steven they were in Busene village. Busene is anew village in Namutumba district where WASH program has just started . And their intentions of going there was to check on the borehole status as well as preparing the village for next coming baseline survey. However as David and Steven were in the village they first visited where the borehole was before proceeding to where the meeting was to take place . They visited the borehole first because they wanted to check and asses on the borehole status . Unfortunately the status of the borehole wasn’t good enough because the sock pit was too bushy and the village chairman Guluke Emanuel Mudaki and some two other members had just cleaned up the compound of the borehole. Also as David and Steven along with the village chairman were still at the borehole compound ,David and Steven they assessed that these were the parts which needed to be replaced . The Head-assembly, U3 cylinder, 4SS pipes and 4 rods .That is after assessing the status of the borehole they moved home to home in about 52 homes monitoring and assessing the sanitation standards of the village. On that note after David , Steven , the V h t Kawanguzi Betty along with the village chairman Guluke Emanuel Mudaki they had moved in 52 homes this is what was discovered the facilities in the different homes needed more improvements in order to met the required sanitation standards. Later David and Steven were led to the meeting place by the chairman of the village Mudaki Emanuel and the Vht mis Betty kawanguzi . At the meeting place this is what was discussed . How to improve on the hygiene and Sanitation Status which was not meeting the standard , the communities borehole contributions which was 484000 shillings, early preparations for the village members who will be well versed with the rightful boundaries of the village getting ready to a company the kibo staff during the baseline survey process, observing the water chain before the kibo patterning with the village to repair the borehole, unity and cooperation amongst everyone in the village. The kibo staff left the village with an assignment which was that the village chairman Guluke Emanuel Mudaki was to make early preparations of the 7members who will be moving along with the kibo staff during the next coming baseline survey process. In general according to David and Steven,s overview this what was noted the the borehole committee was not effective enough and no borehole account balance was in the borehole treasury. Therefore there was need for the kibo to restructure the committee and teaching them their total borehole ownership and the full care of the borehole.
