To educate community members about Attacking and Avoiding situation.
Notes
Introduction Manuela went to bukudomira village to teach about Attacking and Avoiding situation in communication styles. This lesson is aimed at educating the participants to learn how they cam manage their emotions so that they can stop the situation of Attacking one another in community that may result in to accidents, death, hate in the community, but should practice avoidance system to crate peace among them. Overview When Manuela reached the village, she found members waiting for her , she greeted them and requested for one of the members to pray, after that the chairman gave his speech after that Manuela started her class, she started with 14 people but later other members came, Manuela started by reviewing the previous lessons, she asked the members about what they learnt previously participants where able to share their ideas. One of the member said that they learnt about what is communication After that Manuela went on and introduced the Attack and Avoiding behavior. Manuela started by asking the participants that do they have people in their community who Attack others ? They said yes, how about Avoiding behavior they said that they are there but too few. Manuela explained to them what is Attacking and Avoiding? Manuela went on and said that Attacking is when a person uses rudeness behavior to take what doesn’t belong to him by force which is bad. Manuela went on and also explained to community members what Avoidance situation is, she said that it means trying to be away from circumstance that can help an individual to be away from problems, Manuela also said that is the way to go. After that Manuela invited the participants to demonstrate those acts , they suggested the borehole can work because most women Attack them selves at the borehole, so they acted and it was good. The participants acted Attacking first then later they also acted Avoiding situation it was fun, after that, Manuela discussed what transpired during the role play. Participants said that out of what they have seen during the play they suggested that they will try to adopt the Avoidance behavior, Manuela advised the participants to practice that. After that Manuela advised the participants to be careful with Attacking behavior because it can bring more problems to them and the entire community which is not good actually she told them to try and Avoidance behavior. Conclusion Manuela ended by giving the community members home work about listening and critical thinking.
