Notes
Tape went to the village to guide the members as they build the fuel efficient stoves on their own. This was important because some of the members at the lower side of the village had not mastered all the skills very well. When she got there, she went to the home where the stove was going to be built and found the members already gathered and busy stamping the dirt. Others were measuring and cutting the banana stems which was also very important to learn. Tape went and began showing them the right way of doing it because without knowing how to level the stems,it would destroy the whole stove. She then entered into the kitchen and began supervising the members while she also showed them how to physically build a stove. She kept on explaining to the members all the steps and asking them questions because she needed to know weather they had understood or not. Finally the stove was complete and the member’s thanked Tape for the lessons taught that day. They also promised to practice on their own whenever they found free time especially over the weekends. Tape thanked each one for participating in the building process and the meeting came to an end finally.
