Notes
Abraham and Chris went to Sinde village and met 37 community members to discuss about their intention of opening up their group bank account now that they have pride micro finance bank and other financial institutions near them. The community requested Kibo/Mvule to guide them as they plan to open their group bank account since they missed that opportunity before because their district did not have any bank by the time Mvule program was working in their area. The Mvule community group in Sinde village is one of the villages that has benefited from the goats they received from Kibo ,this was evident when some members came with their cows they goat after selling off their goats offsprings, some members have taken the initiative to encourage the neighboring villages to work together in making sure they increase their house hold incomes through poultry and farming however, when a village reached at a stage where they have to decide for them themselves and also encourage other villages to join them, it’s something to celebrate as Kibo because it shows now Mvule community development program has accomplished its objective of reconciling and building a strong relationship among the community. The community members agreed that they have to look for a suitable bank account for the group , Abraham will be visiting the community to continue engaging the community as they plan to open their group account.
