Martin and Enock went to Igerera A, they walked around the village with the Chairman LC1 and the VHTs. Their intention was to encourage the residents about facility construction and improvement, focusing on latrine constructions, dish racks and hand washing stands. Good enough the big number of homes have worked on their new facilities like latrines, shower areas, rubbish pits, kitchens and hand washing stands. But on the side of the dish racks, they are not many in that village, because kibo staff have just demonstrated them, that why they are few. But mostly the residents have worked so hard on their new hand washing stands for washing their hands after visiting their latrines and to prevent Covid 19, which is putting much pressure the hall world, and other diseases like malaria, diarrhea and typhoid, which can come because of poor hygiene. Because of the community members hardworking, the chairman LC1, VHTS and the sanitation committee members, are just appreciating the work of Kibo going on in that area as well as the village. Because they told Martin and Enock that they are willing to work with them, because they have seen the value of the home facilities. So the group was mostly encouraging the community members to work so hard on their home facilities, to make their homes clean and to improve on their hygiene. As kibo is still working in that community as well as the village, the group walked in 36homes.
