Notes
Martin went to Ibaako, he walked around the village with the Chairman LC1 and the sanitation committee members. Their intention was to check on the sanitation and hygiene improvement, they was focusing on homes that by the second evaluation still lack of latrine, to encourage the homes to construct the latrines and finish them, a long the target homes, dish rack construction, dish rack stand following the new dish rack model and also to encourage the residents to dig the new rubbish pit and to empty existing rubbish pits. Good enough the big number have worked hard on their home facilities, and others are still working on them like Aneti Atim, one of the sanitation committee member, her dish rack it’s under construction, Bumali Waisw, he worked on his new dish rack three steps, Jenepher Bilibawa, also one of the sanitation committee members, her new dish rack, it’s under construction, Patrick Balidawa, he is plastering the new latrine with cement, which is so good, Elizafani Warsaw, his new pit latrine, it’s under construction and the main house and Namani Malongo, worked on his new hand washing stands and it’s plastered. Generally the community members are busy working on their home facilities. So the group was just appreciating and encouraging them to work hard and complete that work, but not to work on them in a long way, because they are told to work on them. But to construct those facilities on a good standard and in a strong way and a better way. As kibo is still working in that community as well as the village, the group walked in 32homes.
