Notes
David ,the health Assistant mr Busense Patric along with Steven were in kirwanire village. And their intentions of going there was to move home to home in the targeted homes which were still lagging behind. So that they would kind of speed up the sanitation improvements work in the different homes . Before David and Steven they reached the village, they first visited the ivukula sub county as they had planned earlier on before. They visited the lvukula sub county because they wanted to tag along with mr Busense the health assistant on their way to the village. As they were in the village they were accompanied by all the sanitation committee members and the village chairman mr Bogere Hasani into the different homes. However as the group were moving home to home this is what was note ,There was a lot of sanitation set backs in some homes because of the on going continuous rains. But on the other hand fortunately they were able to see new progress of the new sanitation facilities which were coming up. They also saw some two new latrine pits which were still being worked upon .For example in the most complicated two village members. One was seen in Farouk,s home bout 15 feet deeper and the other pit was in Balilayine,s home also about 20 feet deeper. Therefore the group while they were in the two above mentioned homes ,they encouraged so much Balilayine and Farouk to aim at digging at deeper pit of about 35 feet deeper. In order to avoid the two members from repeating the work of digging new latrines now and again . David also I-dearly advised the two members to use the chance when they were still young and stronger because wherever they grew older they wouldn’t be able to dig another pits. All in all it was David and Steven,s joy seeing one bad person getting changed and improve. By so saying one of the two members is a prominent figure which is heard and listened to by all the youth in the village. So the kibo staff who were working in kirwanire thought that they were to yield good fruits of improvements since Farouk had accepted to get changed. Later after all that the committee of the village took the health Assistant to the five homes which had failed them. So that he would issue letters of warnings and the period he expects them to have completed their sanitation work progress. The five residents who were the owners of the five complicated homes were as follows. Kalulu Magidu, wamalwa John, muzale minkolosi, Eliot kuluse and kilya Patric. They pleaded before the health assistant mr Busense and on note he gave them all a grace period of 3 weeks before they will all get to finish with the sanitation improvements in the five homes . After all that because of the limited time factor and the too much rains David and Steven they were forced to leave for jinja. In general according to David and Steven,s overview this is what was noted , everyone in the village seemed to be ready to get changed and improved.
