Notes
Jessica and Suzan went to the lower section of the village to guide the members as they build the fuel efficient stoves on their own. When they reached there, they went to one of the homes where the activity was taking place and found almost all the members participating in the building process. They were warmly welcomed to the village and together they stamped the dirt until it was ready for building. The group chairperson mr. magala informed Kibo staff how they had already built the first stove very early in the morning. This was very encouraging because it showed that the members were willing to learn all the skills. Suzan and Jessica began supervising the members while they built the stoves because some of them had not yet mastered all the skills. Kibo staff encouraged the members to always try and master each step of building the stove so that they would be able to do it perfectly on their own even without supervision. They also advised each member who got a stove to see that they improved on all their facilities together with the general sanitation and hygiene. At the end of all, two stoves were perfectly built that day and the members thanked Kibo staff for the lessons taught. They also promised to always practice building the stoves on their own so as to improve on their performance, and then wished one another a happy stay until the coming meeting.
