Ida went Kasuleta to continue with feeds table and ratio and also to elaborate more on growers and layers mash. Ida explained what growers, layers mash is. Growers mash is the food given to male chickens from week nine and above whereas Layers mash is for female chickens. Below are the recipes for both growers and layers mash. Growers mash: Maize brand 70kgs. Cotton seed cake 20kgs Silver fish 07 kgs Shells 02 kgs Pre mix 1/2 kg Salt 1/2 kg Layers mash: Maize brand 69.2 kgs Cotton seed cake 18 kgs Silver fish 05 kgs Shells 6.8 kgs Pre mix 300 gms Salt 300 gms Ida also encouraged Kasuleta community to follow the feeds table that she gave in order to get good results.
