Notes
Suzan went back to the village to check on the maintenance of the program facilities such as the stoves, construction of the kitchen roofs and firewood storages and smearing of the buildings. When she got there, she went to the chairperson’s home and got her with other four members waiting patiently. She was warmly welcomed to the village that day and after exchanging greetings, Suzan requested the members to move together with her and visit a few homes especially those that needed to improve on their facilities. The community had lost one of their elderly leaders in the village that day and most of the members had left for burial function. Together they went and visited a few homes, Suzan found some members cooking on their fuel efficient stoves especially the elderly children who helped their mothers in cooking food. Some buildings were neatly smeared and Suzan observed that other members had just constructed new firewood storages inside their kitchens. Some kitchens had also been properly re roofed although not all of them because the members complained saying it was a little hard to construct the kitchen roofs during a rainy season. Other stoves had not yet been smeared together with other buildings. Suzan encouraged the members to always maintain and improve on their facilities as much as possible so as to live a better healthy life with their families and spare time for other educative lessons. They thanked Suzan for the advice given and promised to do that once they got free time.
