Irene went to maliga village to teach about maternal, infant, child health basically teaching about health risks,common causes of maternal,child,infant child death. Irene started with a review of the previous lesson then asked the members some of the risks in maternal,infant and child health and the causes of death. Together the group discussed some of the causes like,hemorrhage,sepsis,preeclampsia,asphyxia,pneumonia among others where Irene gave detailed explanation of how each can affect health. There after the meeting Irene made a visit to the different homes to make a general follow up on hygiene, breast feeding mothers,and to observe for malnutrition.
