Ws Notes
David and Steven went to Nawampiti village to continue encouraging the few of the community members who had not yet worked and improved on their hygiene standards to do so.for example mr mugonyi Moses, mwota grace and others. The Kibo staff first moved in those homes to check on their progress. The first home they visited was mr Tilibuza,Daniel,s home, where they found when he had finished digging his pit latrine and the progress which was he is halfway constructing the walls of his latrine. The wife of mr Tilibuza Daniel requested David to forgive them because they had not completed in time. She requested David to give them another grace period of about five days to complete the construction of their latrine. David accepted because they had worked and improved on the rest of their other home facilities . They continued moving to the next home of mr Bakaki Fred. Mr. Bakakis wife had earlier encouraged David to talk to his husband about the improvement of their home latrine which was almost filled up. David in the previous visit talked to Bakaki encouraging him to dig at-least 7 feet to avoid the spread of the diseases since it is a rainy season. David and Steven found when he had finished the construction and what was left was roofing it. He said that soon he will be starting to dig a standardized pit latrine he continued and said that, he will be using that one as he buys better construction materials for his good latrine. They had moved in only those two homes When the rain started falling they stopped there in those homes . After the rain, they called up five members on the water and sanitation committee then kept on encouraging them to double their efforts towards encouraging all those who had not improved on their sanitation and hygiene to balance between their garden work and sanitation improvement. They also noted that they were not doing well with their contributions towards their borehole account. David and Steven encouraged them to continue moving home to home and also locking up the borehole only to allow those who will have paid their borehole contributions to get the water. They have 120000 thousand shillings. they left the village promising to move together with the committee members to those homes which were not meeting the required hygiene standards. In general Nawampiti village the majority of the community members have worked and improved on their facilities at an avrage of 89 percentage coverage.

2030 Mr Kweta musa has constructed a good new kitchen in his home after promising David several time that he will construct a better new kitchen after having requested and given a-grace period of two weeks time to finish with the construction.
2033 This is Mr bakolaki freds dishrack and his temporary latrine in the background. He has completed constructing the wall around his temporary latrine, which is about 10feet deep. meanwhile he gets organized to dig a-deeper toilet in his home than the one he is having presently. Kibo staff also advised Bakolaki to put rocks under his dishrack to avoid the water flooding under it as you see in the picture.
