Notes
Abraham and Chris met thirty Kazimbakujira members and the purpose was to teach them how to put cages around the trees they planted to protect them from being destroyed by animals. They first visited Iwemba sub county where they found the CDO and he was happy that Kibo gave them the trees to be planted at the sub county. He said that there is a guy who was given the task of planting the trees but he heard that some government officials asked him to give them some trees so that they can also plant in their homes. CDO told them that when he will come he they will go around checking the trees and Abraham told him that they need to put those cages to protect the trees from the animals, also to be be thinking about watering them especially I dry seasons. They proceeded to Kazimbakujira village and they first went to Kazimbakujira primary school where they planted twenty trees. They moved around with the pupils and one of the teacher checking trees and the trees were looking good but without something to protect them from animals. Abraham encouraged the teacher and pupils to put around cages so that even when someone is passing by can notice that there is something there and also animals not to destroy them. The went to ten homes around where they checked the trees and they had not put cages around them, Abraham encouraged them to put them and also to be thinking how they will water them during dry season because we do not know how they weather will be in January, always January is a dry season but as it has rained the all year may be it will be different. They finished with the home of the LC1 chairperson, he planted some trees in his compound and he he gave his children trees to look after. They put cages to some trees and the will finish all of them, them they had to leave back to Jinja because it was becoming late.
