Learning Objectives
To review the previous lessons and give the participants general test.
Notes
Introduction Manuela went to Nabikenge to review all the previous lessons learnt and to give the participants general test about all what they have been learning for the past six months. This exercise is aimed at accessing if the participants understood what the life skills teacher taught them.but if some of the specific questions were not answered well then the teacher can repeat some of the lessons so that they can understand it well because life skills is not all about learning but to understand the skills so that they can practice it in their daily life. Overview Manuela reached the village found community members waiting for her already, she greeted them and asked her do you have our test? Manuela answered yes, then she asked them that are you afraid? They said no. Manuela also asked them that how many people are ready for this test today? They said all of us shouted. After that fun , Manuela requested the chairman so that they can start, one of the participants called migrate prayed, after that the chairman gave his speech encouraging the participants to continue practicing the skills though the life skills teacher will not be around. He went on and told the members to value the group that they are in. Test After all the communications, Manuela started her lesson, she reviewed all the previous lessons together with the participants, after that, she told them that, that was a reminder, she started to asked them questions and they would respond to questions which was good, who ever give a correct answer Manuela would give that person salt, that method motivated most of the participants that made them to think of answers so that they give correct answers and also get salt. Most of the women participated than the men, and most women received lost of salt than the men. Manuela was so pleased with the women the way they were struggling to think of the right answers, that was really good. During the exercise some women would deny the incorrect answers that means the participants understood well what Manuela taught them as it was observed during that time. Conclusion After the test, Manuela encouraged the participants to practice all what they have learnt and she advised them to teach their children too, Manuela went on and told-them that they should get some times and talk to their children mostly as they approaching the Christmas season, the community members appreciated Manuela for being with them for all those days though some time I would find few people but I never gave up but continued coming to teach .
