Enock and Martin made a visit in this community to check on the progress of sanitation improvements more so latrines, dish racks, shower areas, hand washing station, rubbish pits. They focused on the homes that are lagging behind more without latrines and had promised to complete the other facilities. We walked in those homes first were we saw some new latrines under construction, new latrine pits, dish racks and new hand washing stands. The family of Mr. wamulambi who for long didn’t have a proper latrine, he dug a new pit and build a new latrine for the home. There has been increase on new hand washing stations and new latrines. The people in this community have really embraced program and working towards improving their sanitation standards. There are many homes which have new facilities but not up to standard, we encouraged them to maintain the facilities up to standard, guided them how to improve on there sanitation facilities. We where so happy to see an old man who had lost his latrine due to heavy rainfall, the good news is sons helped him to dig a 15ft deep latrine and now working on his hand washing facility. There are also 4 new dish racks that we saw and well constructed. We also had a brief.
