Martin and Steven were in Kilwanire, their intention was to meet the community members, to discuss about kibo’s program. Good enough, Martin and Steven reached at the meeting place, when the Chairman LC1, other village leaders and the community members was already waiting for them. The chairman LC1’s spoke that he was so happy and just welcoming the kibo staff and the community members. And another thing, he was also appreciating the work of Kibo going on that village. He was thinking that kibo is not going back to their village due to Covid 19 and politics. Before the discussion, everyone who was in that meeting, was so happy and appreciating the work of sanitation facilities in their homes as well as their village. Because for those who have worked on their home facilities like digging the new pit latrines and constructing them, kitchens and hand washing stands, they have seen the value of those facilities. So the whole meeting agreed that they are willing to work with kibo on their home facilities. And those homes who have not worked on their home facilities, they are willing to work on them and complete them. And others who have not worked on them, they need more encouragement about maintaining them. As the time was going, they left the village to go back to Jinja.
