Martin and Steven were in Kilwanire, their intention was to have a general meeting with the village leaders and the second group of community members in that village. Because when Martin and Steven had a meeting with the village leaders, they discussed to have a general meeting with the community members. before living Jinja, they called the chairman LC1, to see if the community members are ready for meeting, he said they are willing to be in that meeting. Unfortunately on that same day, the Chairman LC1 got an accident when he was riding a motorcycle. But good enough, even if he got an accident, he was not on a bad condition. And other village leaders and the VHTS was waiting for Martin and Steven at the meeting place. Before starting the meeting, they had an opening prayer with Ida Nangobi the general VHT for Kilwanire village. After the opening prayer, they had a speak from the vice chairman, because even the chairman LC1 was sick, the chair can not move. And on his speak, he was really happy for kibo staff, to be in their community as well as their village. And he was appreciating kibo’s work in their village, because he said that, before kibo entering their village, the village was to bind on the said of the home facilities, especially latrines, kitchens dish racks, shower areas and hand washing facilities and because of kibo’s work, their village is becoming a hygiene-tic village. And Ida Nangobi a general VHT in that village, those letters in full, it means the healthy village term. She was also appreciating kibo’s work in their community as well as the village. Because he said that, before kibo entering their village, it was so hard for them to encourage the community members to work on their sanitation facilities, but she said that, the work of encouraging the residents to work on their sanitation facilities, it’s becoming easier. The executive LC1, VHTS and the community members, they said that, according to want they have seen, they are willing to work with kibo.

2021-02-19 - Purpose: To meet the third and take the small jerrycans for hand washing.
