Harriet went to Ndalike village to teach participants how to remove banana stems from the previously built stoves.
She reached in the village and found a few participants already waiting at the meeting place.Later own other participants also turned up for the meeting.
Harriet asked the participants to bring a shovel and a knife that will be used to remove banana stems. She also asked participants to watch attentively and ask questions where they did not understand.
Harriet removed banana stems from the two demonstration stoves for Mugote George and Nabirye. She also removed the dirt which was stuck inside to allow air and fire to flow freely for the stoves to be effective. She did this as she explained The Whole process as the participants watched.
Kibo staff asked the participants to smear these two demonstration stoves after removing the banana stems to enable them look neat and last longer.
