- Irene went to Naisamula village to make a door to door mobilization of the community members,informing them of the health education lessons,venue,time , place and also carrying out an evaluation of the homes as regards the general health of the homes,nutrition, breastfeeding mothers and their babies,pregnant women regarding antenatal visits and other health related issues. Irene went to chairman’s home because they had discussed earlier that he will help move her around the village so they together discussed which homes to visit first. Irene talked to the chairman on how he needs to be the example of the village as regards the health issues especially hygiene of the home, seeking medical care, and encouraging community members to embrace the health facilities in their village for treatment. Then together with the chairman Irene moved to different homes advising them as observed and mobilizing members for the health lessons. Irene promised the members that she will make phone Calls to the different mobilizers in the village to inform them of the next visit for the first lesson.
