Notes
Martin and Steven, were in Busene, their intention was to check on the sanitation facilities in that community as well as the village. They walked around with the Chairman LC1, LC2 and the sanitation committee members. The group was so encouraged, to see that the community members in that village, are busy working on their new facilities, for example Isiko Malinzi, worked on his new latrine, 25ft deep and he dug the new rubbish pit, Steven Kibwiika, worked on his new kitchen and he roofed it, he worked on his dish rack and he dug a new pit latrine 30ft deeper and good enough he told the group that, he is planning to construct it in few days, Edith Nangobi, a widow, she worked on her new kitchen and she is working on her new latrine, two rooms and the shower area for the visitors and another shower area for her family, which is so good on the side of the kibo staff and Wilson Wabusaja, worked on his new rubbish pit and new dish rack, it’s under construction. Martin and Steven was so encouraged, to hear from the village leaders, appreciating the kibo’s work, in their community as well as the village. The Chairman LC1, told the kibo staff, that the work of encouraging the community members about the home facilities, it’s for him and his executive. And the kibo staff was also happy to see the new facilities in these few days. As kibo is still working in that community as well as the village, the group worked in 30homes.
