Martin and Steven were in Busene, their intention was to check on the new home facilities like digging the new pit latrines, kitchens, dish racks, rubbish pits and shower areas. And to encourage the community members to work hard on them and how use them. Good enough, even if kibo have just started working in that community as well as the village, but they have started working on their new facilities like digging the new pit latrines, others are replacing the old ones, who are still deep, shower areas constructions, kitchens and the dish racks. For example Yokana Mubaale, he is digging the new pit latrine, it’s now 8ft deep, Wilson Wabasadha worked on the new dish rack and Minkulosi kintu worked on his new shower area and the latrine, it’s under construction. But the major problem in that community, when they see the kibo staff, they used to ran a way from their homes. They tried to find out, why they were taking off, they were told by the Chairman LC1 that, they fear to be arrested. Because the Government policy, they don’t encourage them, but they just arrest. But kibo’s work, is to teach and encourage the community members how to work on their home facilities and the values of those facilities. So Martin and Steven requested the Chairman LC1, to go and tell those homes who used to run away every time, to stop running, because they are going to miss to know the standards of those home facilities and the values of them. The village leaders and sanitation committee members are willing to work with kibo, to encourage the community members to work on their sanitation facilities, because its their work. As kibo is still working in that village, the group walked in 27homes.
