Notes
Manuela went to Kivule primary school to teach about discipline, hygiene and respect for girls and boys. Her aim was to teach the pupils about the importance of personal hygiene, indiscipline cases and also to have respect for girls. At Kivule there has been cases of indiscipline among boys in this school, so Manuela decided to advise the boys that respect is the key to success, she also told them that if someone is well behaved then God will add him/ her more days to live on earth. During the discussion about personal hygiene, Manuela told the pupils to always bathe, brush their teeth, cut their nails short, shave their pubic hair and always wash their clothing and their panties every time they take shower , she also told them that if some one practices good personal hygiene then he/ she will be free from bacteria infection and other diseases like dysentery, malaria and stomachache, she also told them to brush their teeth to avoid them from losing their teeth all the time while still young. Finally Manuela talked about respect for girls more especially during their periods, she told the boys that menstrual period are normal, no one must talk about the girls who are in their days, she strongly told them who ever laugh at a girl or gossips about her is fetching curses on him.
