Notes
Abraham and Chris met seven Kitukiro community members and the purpose was to discuss what they can do together. As soon as they reached the village they found Kitukiro primary school organizing a party for primary seven students who are going to do their exams. There was a loud music going on and it was difficult to meet when a loud music is going on and another thing the parents were preparing to go and pray for their children. The chairperson Mss Base said they are continuing with savings and after a year they will see how much they have saved to decide what to do. She said that they planted the passion fruits and they harvested already whereby they got sixty thousand shillings already and they still have some in the garden which they estimate to get like two hundred fifty thousand. Abraham and Chris encouraged them to continue thinking about other options like buying pigs because they multiply so fast. They need to work together how they can keep them as a group together and also they have Muslims in the group how they will make them a part of the group. Some members said that they need to have a meeting as a group so that they can think of those ideas. Abraham reminded them to be calling the DFO to inquire if their certificate is ready so that they can pick it. This group most of the members are women and men are few but they are working hard to see that the group succeed.
