Learning Objectives
To educate the participants about the importance of HIV and Human rights.

Introduction Manuela went to Bulyowa village to teach about the relationship between HIV and STDs, after that lesson Manuela plans to also educate the community members about Human Right and HIV, this lesson are intended to educate the community members that even people with HIV also deserve their rights as other people without the virus. Overview When Manuela reached the village, she found few people at the meeting place, Manuela asked them where are others, they responded that they are coming sooner later they started to come , when the numbers reached 30 Manuela started her lesson by asking the participants about what they learnt previously, they responded and managed to share what they captured previously. After that Manuela introduced the lesson of the day, Manuela started by asking the participants that how should people with HIV be treated? One man said that we should love them, another one said he doesn’t know because they don’t want to tell people that they are positive, the one said that we should always include them in the community meeting and hear out their voice too. Manuela appreciated them and went on and told them that all people living with the virus are entailed to all forms of Human Right for example like right to education, right to medical services, right communication, right to marry , right to freedom of speech and among others. After that lesson, Manuela asked the participants that how do they think about what she just explained to them about Human Right and HIV positive people. They all responded that is good because those people are not dead , they are still living and deserve such rights so that they can gain strength that will enable them to live longer. Homework presentation Previously Manuela left an home work to her participants to search for the different relationships between HIV and sexual treatment disease, she asked them that who is ready to present, one of the participants stood up and said that the reason why there is a relationship between HIV and STDs because when one is HIV positive has higher chance of being infected with STDS because of the immune system being weekends, one said that some STDs like gonorrhea because comes with wounds which create a portal of entry that spreed up the spread of HIV, that was a good answers that pleased Manuela. After the participants presentation, Manuela went on and explained to the participants that this session describes four major sexually transmitted diseases and their symptoms. Participants learnt the concept that early treatment of sexually transmitted disease can dramatically reduce the risk of infection with HIV. They have an opportunity to role play telling a partner about STDs and why they would get treated. So she told the participants that it’s very important for the people with HIV to treat all STDS in time other than waiting for it to become worse. She even asked them that whom among have ever gone for STDs testing. Finally she told the community members that this maks the end of the this topic and she told them that next week they will be doing end of topic test, and she told them to prepare.

2021-03-31 - Purpose: On that day Manuela will give the participants end of the topic test and also introduce a new topic which is Decision making.
