Notes
Alex b and Chris went to nabituluntu village to discuss with members to discuss withe group members the challenges their leaders encounter during the registration of their group and how to overcome them. This, Chris and Alex b wanted to demonstrate to the community how to solve any problem or conflict amongst themselves, the chairperson first highlighted the problems they have encountered which included high rates of transport fares which required everyone to dig deep into their pockets , another challenge was the absence of government officials from their offices which brought about redundancy, the road network to the sub county offices is bad especially when it rains, these and many other challenges are not unique in this village only but many other communities too however , they only strengthen the group because at the end of the program, the villages now know what to do in case they have problems, they have to come together. However, despite of the above challenges, the chairperson said they were able to register their group with the government and they have a certificate to show that. He thanked the members for working as a team to see that they register the group with the government however, the chairperson challenged the group members that it is upon themselves to make their group functional by coming together to decide on which activity to carry on. The chairperson promised to call the meet during the course of the week to give a everyone a Chaco decide on the activity to carry on. Chris and Alex will be visiting nabituluntu to guide the community as they discuss about what activity they plan to go with in order to make their group functional.
