Notes
Harriet, Jeska and Tape found when one woman in this community had died during labour. This was sad and psychologically affected most women in this village and they couldn’t even gather to build stoves except went to the funeral to help in cooking food for the mourners. It was sad that this woman went through a surgery and the baby came out a live but unfortunately the mother died. There was a lot of rumor in this village about the death of the deceased. Some people were saying that she was bewitched by her co wife because she grew her g.nuts but the man sold them and the money was used to buy a plot for the deceased of which she was not happy about and decided to kill her. Kibo staff were also forced to go and mourn with the community. They also encouraged them to be careful about the words they speak or else they can cause conflict in the entire village. Harriet encouraged them that instead of trying to find out what killed this woman of which may not restore her life they should think about how they are going to rise this baby orphan because she needs support in the absence of her mother. She also encouraged them that the Lord is the one who gives and takes away so they should pray for the family to stay strong and faithful to the lord despite the difficult moments.
