Notes
Alex.b and Chris went to nabituluntu to continue guiding the community members as they discussed how they will operate their piggery project, amongst the issues to be discussed were the location of the pig shelter, where they will get the good breed of pigs, the feeding of pigs among other issues. Alex.b and Chris were able to meet 17 members of the group and the following resolutions were made. The group members agreed to get the best breed , through their chairperson, they sad if they want to multiply their pigs with the best breed they have to look for the best breed. The group members agreed to set up a wooden structure for their pigs, they said for starters , they can start with the wooden then as the pigs multiply, they would construct a permanent structure. The group members agreed to contribute 5,000 shillings each as capital to start their project, they said they would start with two piglets since its their first time then as they go on they will increase their capital. The group members were so grateful for the know borehole which they said it will boost their project by providing water for the pigs. Chris encouraged them to work as a team , he appealed to them not to leave the work for leaders only but to carry on with responsibilities assigned to them. Alex b cautioned the leaders to be so transparent in whatever they do in order to win trust from their group members. Chris and Alex will be going back to nabituluntu on 26/04/2021 To continue guiding the community members as they discuss how they will operate their piggery project.
