Notes
Martin and Steven were in Busene, they walked around the village with the Chairman LC1 and the VHTS, in full Village Health Term. Their intention was to check on the new home facilities and to encourage the community members about the standards and maintenance. Even if it’s a rain season, residents are also working in their gardens, but they also busy working on their new home facilities like digging their new pit latrines, others are constructing them, rubbish pits, dish racks, kitchens and the shower areas. For example Sula Mugwiisa worked on their home facilities, the new latrine, rubbish pit and the dish rack, it’s under construction, Wilson Wabusaja, dug his new latrine, 25ft deep it’s under construction, Dauson Walubi’s new dish rack it’s under construction, Alice Kilabila’s new dish rack, it’s under construction and Moses Magoma, worked on his new dish rack in a strong way and better way. Martin, Steven and the village leaders was just appreciating and encouraging those who are busy working on their new home facilities, about the standards and maintenance. Generally the community members are just appreciating the work of kibo, especially Women, they said that, kibo have helped them so much on the said on of latrines, kitchens and shower areas. They said that they have been suffering for a long time, without having those facilities, because their husband used to stay in the center. And they also requesting kibo to continue their work of sanitation facilities in their village, and they are willing to work with kibo and according to their hard working, kibo is also willing to work with them. As kibo is still working in that village, the group walked in 36homes.
