Notes
Martin and Steven, were in Namusita, they walked around the village with the Chairman LC1 and the sanitation committee members. Their intention was to check on the new home facilities and encouraging the residents about the standards maintenance. Even if, it’s a new, but the group was so much encouraged, to see that the big number of homes are busy working on their new home facilities like digging the new pit latrines, others are busy constructing them, kitchens, dish racks, roofing their kitchens and shower areas. Because of the good leadership, Noah Mubundu, the chairman LC1, he is busy working on his new latrine, to saw the community as well as the village that he is among of them. His old latrine, was destroyed by the heavy rain. Others are also working on their new facilities like Peter Matenga, he is digging a new pit latrine, it’s now 12ft deep and he told the group that, he is going to construct it in a strong way with bricks and cement, because he is a respected member in that community as well as the village, Sarah Nabukenya, she is collecting the bricks to construct the new kitchen, even her husband is around, because she had how Tom taught in the triggering about the values of having the home facilities, job Kinyonyi, roofed his new kitchen, Charles Tola worked on the new kitchen, Isima Saja, promised to maintain his Father’s kitchen, in one week, Moses Balyeijusa’s new latrine 15ft deep, it’s under construction and Samilu Mayendhe, he has just bought a land in that village, and he is going to be a resident of that village. But he promised the group that, he is willing to work on the new home facilities fast. And good enough, he is busy working on them, he worked on the new latrine, shower areas and kitchen it’s under construction. Generally the community members in that village are willing to work with kibo. As kibo is still working in that village, the group walked in 38homes.
