Abraham met nine Kivule community members and the purpose was to discuss about women who are in the group yet their husbands are not under caring for goats. As soon as Abraham reached rain came from one side and it started pouring whereby most members went back to their homes to take things they left outside into their houses. Abraham took shelter at chairperson’s home with some members where they discussed about women in the group whereby their husbands are not. In Busoga culture a woman’s thing a man has authority over it and he can sell or do something about it. The chairman LC1 told the meeting that it is true men in Busoga claim what the woman have but for this case he is willing to meet all men whose wife is a member and he is not so that they can discuss about the goats their women are going to receive to make they can not sell them or do anything about them because they are given for the purpose of developing the home not to sell or to eat. Abraham welcomed the idea and encouraged them to meet because as Kibo will give them goats, they are the one to take care of them to see that they can develop their homes as the chairman said. He gave the example of Bulongo where a man and his wife were given two goats from Kibo and they worked hard and they bought a cow whereby they have been selling some of their cow to educate their son who is now graduating from the University. The chairman said that he is going to organize the meeting with only the husbands of the women in the group and they are going to discuss before the next meeting.
