Martin went to Namusita, he walked around the village with the Chairman LC1 and the VHTs. Their intention was to check on the sanitation and hygiene improvement through the facility construction and to encourage the community members about the facility standards especially latrines, dish racks and shower areas.
Good enough, a big number of people in that community are willing to work on their new home facilities and they are working on them like working on the new pit latrines, rubbish pits, dish racks, kitchens and shower areas. But the group was just encouraging the residents about the standards especially on the latrine, dish racks and shower areas.
But unfortunately the group was still walking around the village, but as it’s a rain season, the rain started raining at around 7:00 pm. So the group decided to stop walking, because it was raining to much. It rained from that time, up-to 2:55pm. As the time was going and it’s a long journey from that village to Jinja and it’s was so muddy. And as kibo has just started working in that village and is still working in that community as well as the village, Martin decided to live the village, even if it rained, good enough, the group walked in 15homes.
