- Martin went to Kagulu village to check on sanitation and hygiene improvement, in those homes who are still bind. He walked around the section of the trading center with the Chairman LC1 and one sanitation committee member. The community members had worked so hard on their sanitation facilities like latrine constructions, dish racks, rubbish pits, kitchens and shower facilities. Unfortunately they had a heavy rain on Sunday, all the latrines, shower areas and kitchens which had not been constructed to a good standard were destroyed by the heavy rain.Martin took this opportunity to encourage them about the proper standards and maintenance. In addition the VHT’s were busy spraying houses to eliminate mosquitoes.
