Notes
Chris made a follow up visit to buyange village, tye follow up was about members who planted the trees, Chris was joined by Mr farouk as soon as he reached the village. Equipped with the tree issuing form bearing names of thise who planted trees, chris and farouk went to mr magumba francis’ home, mr magumba received 10 musisi tree which he wanted to plant on his 5 acre land. Mr magumba took chris and farouk around his land , chris saw that mr magumba had planted the trees so well but he had not caged them , chris demostrated how best he can cage the trees to protect them ftom animals and children. Chris also observed that mr Magumba had not involved his whole family except the wife and their first born, chris realisd that mr francis was doing almost all the work concerning taking care of tree himself however, chris encouraged him to use tha trees as a uniting factor in his family by giving out responsibilities among his family members, chris said a tree should be a symbol of unity at home. The next home chris visited was for the group chairperson Mr salumini Isiiko, he planted 10 musizi and 5 mvule trees, Mr Isiiko has 15 children so he decided to distribute the trees to his children to plant, he wanted every child at his home to plant and own a tree, he his role was to supervise to see that they were taking care of their trees very well. However, when he reached when chrisbreached Namugosa Nuulu’s home, he realised she had planted the trees on the boundary line next yo her neighbor, chris advised her to transplant the trees to a few metres in side her plot of land, chris explained to her that when the trees griw, they tend to spread and expand to the neighbors land which creates a land dispute in future, because Mrs Nuulu had a small piece of land, Nuulu planted only two musizi treeson his land, chris encouraged her to take care of her trees. Chris went ahead to meet the commjnity members were he cautioned to build cages around their trees to protect them against animals. Chris will be going back on 19/05/2021 to establish the leadership of the group. Chris will guide the community members to conduct elections of their group leaders he will be working with.
