Notes
Alex b and chris went to nabituluntu to continue with the follow up on the group project, the group chose to rear pigs and they have been constructing their shelter, the last time chris and Alex were in nabituluntu, the group had started constructing the shelter, they are planning to partition the shelter to different rooms were the pigs will eat and sleep respectively, they also had plans to buy tree husks to put them on the floor to give warmth and protect pigs from contracting diseases as well. Chris and Alex b are at a stage of their curriculum where the group is carrying out economic project for sustainability as they prepare to progress by themselves, chris and alex b have to make a number of trips trying to guide the group members to make good choices and decisions. No sooner had chris and alex b reached the village than it started raining heavily, chris and alex b had wait in the car for the rain to stop but in vain, when Alex b called the chairman he said seven of the project committee were at his home so we could go there and proceed with the meeting, chris and alex managed to meet the seven members of the group project. The chairperson thanked Alex b and chris for braving the rain to continue guiding the group to make good decisions, the chairperon continued to report that the group members have continued working together as a team which has simpligied his work however he said they were not able to get the piglets as expected because the neighbors pig had not yet given birth but they said they were monitoring, the chairperson Mr Tulibagenyi also said the group members have been bringing husks and the work was going on pretty well. Chris and Alex b took some time to observe how the pig shelter construction was going on, they observed that the flow of the shelter indeed needed some husks which the members pledged to bring however, Alex b adviced the committee to put a shade on one side of the structure to shield the pigs from the rains. The committee chairlerson thanked the members for contributing the required amount of money to buy the piglets and encoutaged them to continue contributing when need arises. Chris and alex b concluded by promising to visit again on 17/05/2021 to guide the hroupnas tney discuss about how tbey will open the group bank account, chris and alex will teach about the advantages of having their money in the bank instead of keeping it in their houses.
