Notes
Martin and Steven were in Namusita, they walked around the village with the Chairman LC1 and the sanitation committee members. Their intention was to check on the sanitation and hygiene improvement in that community as well as the village. But good enough, they is some improvement, in the homes the group walked in. Because the big number of homes have worked on their new facilities like digging the new pit latrines and constructing them, kitchens, dish racks, rubbish pits and shower areas. And others are still working on them like Sooma Kuzala’s new latrine, it’s under construction, Sarah Nabukenya’s new kitchen, it’s under construction, Isima Kyalya maintained the old kitchen and Daniel Saba, he is digging the new pit latrine, it’s now 25ft deep but he said he is continuing to make it 30ft deeper. Martin and Steven, was so encouraged, how the Chairman LC1 for that village, Noah Mubundu, how he worked on the new latrine. Because before kibo went to that village, he didn’t have a latrine. But on the triggering day, Tom taught about the values of the home facilities and the chairman also was in that meeting. After teaching them, he asked a question, that if you don’t have a latrine, raise up your hand, the Chairman LC1 was the first person to raise up his hand, to say that he didn’t have a latrine. But good enough, he dug a new pit latrine 30ft deeper, he constructed it in a strong way and a better way, with bricks and cement. And he is plastering it, and he promised the group that, if God wises, his latrine, is going to be the best latrine in Namusita as a village. As kibo is still working in that village, the group walked in 40homes, because the homes are close to each other.
