- Notes
- Martin went to ltuba Namalowe to check on sanitation and hygiene improvement. In the section of the trading center towards the primary school along the road. He walked around that section with the Chairman LC1 and one VHT, while they were checking on facilities like latrines, dish racks, shower areas as well as rubbish pits. They specifically made a visit to one VHT called Swaga to check on what he has been able to do concerning sanitation and hygiene. Martin and group were so happy to see that Swaga has started digging a pit latrine it’s now 4ft deep. Also good enough the big number of the community members have worked so hard on their sanitation facilities like latrine constructions, dish racks, rubbish pits, kitchens, shower facilities and smearing their houses. He was encouraging the community members about standards and maintenance of their sanitation facilities. They walked in 30homes.
