Village Notes: Our own Kibo CLTS program has done a very good job in this village and the village responded very well towards this program. A lower section of the village and about 20 homes get water from the swamp.

Notes: Alex met with the LC 1 and three VHTs that are among the sanitation committee that works closely with the CLTS program. He went to meet with the area leaders of the village and continue to encourage the people to maintain their sanitation facilities. He moved in 25 homes encouraging people to maintain their sanitation facilities. This is a build up on what the WASH program is doing in this village as we prepare the village into other programs that Kibo is intending to do in this village. The stoves program and water program are the ones next in this village. Alex did move in this village to get the feeling of the village and know the current sanitation status. Alex has been in this village with Tom in the middle of the CLTS program. He now plans to engage this community more this month as he prepares the community through the steps involved before a borehole is punched. He communicated to the leaders that a day will be agreed upon when a village meeting will be held and expect them to carry out a thorough mobilization of the village. Alex will go back and together with the leaders decide on a day for the meeting and start mobilization of the community.
